Toyota makes a lot of trucks...like more than most people realize. There are some “duplicates” on this list but if I’ve included it, its because it has some differences with the other version that make it unique. If you count variations in cab/wheelbase, there are over 24 trucks. If you count unique platforms (discounting wheelbase and body style) there are 9. There are commonalities in all of them, but 9 different truck lines. More if you count HINO. For being the Camry/Prius people...they sure offer a lot of body on frame variety...dare I say more than any other manufacture?

Like the list. Funny how the fortuner and the Prado are considered light duty

Toyota calls the prado light duty, so I used that as my baseline.

76 wagon. Short (ish) wheelbase, 5 seater. it gets the 1hz naturally aspirated diesel I6 (dog slow) the Gas V6 from the tacoma (not so slow) or the 1VD-FTV turbo diesel V8 (a freakin monster) with a 5 speed manual.

Don’t forget the FJ Cruiser still (just) exists, not really a truck but the Hiace van is very popular here.

Also you missed the most mighty Cruiser of all...

I’ll get my coat.

What country is this sold in, and can earlier models be imported? Or is it too new?

Australia and South Africa. Too new to import, first MY was 2007. Before that it was only available in either the Troopy or the single cab pick up (I think!).
